[lineate]choking drains down the route,[/lineate]
[lineate]street-light blinking out, stale roti[/lineate]

[stanza][lineate]baddening the guts, your eyes sharp for midnight bandit[/lineate]
[lineate]or coke jumbie looking to make ole mas[/lineate]
[lineate]with the unwary —[/lineate]
[lineate indent=6]you clown prince, you celebratory idiot[/lineate]

[stanza][lineate]you forget she was Coolie Devil original,[/lineate]
[lineate]Jab-Jab Mistress, maker of scourges?[/lineate]
